10/40 Window

| Most of the people groups still unreached
by the gospel live in places stretching across the maps of northern
Africa and Asia. Christian missions strategist Luis Bush started
calling this rectangular area or band: "the 10/40 window." He
used that easy-to-remember name because it describes that area of
Africa and Asia from 10 degrees north of the equator to 40 degrees
latitude north of the equator. Statistics about this area:
- 2/3 of the unreached population live in this area
- 86% of severe persecution occurs in this area
- 97% of the unreached people live in the 10/40 window
- Only 5% missions giving goes to countries in the 10/40
window
- Over 70% of Fellowship Tract League Tracts
go to countries in the 10/40 window

Tract Stories
Dear FTL,
I have really, deep down inside, decided to be saved by the Lord. After I read
one of the scripts that some wonderful man gave to my sister. My sister gave it
to me. After I talked to my sister and read the tract I realized that I was a
sinner. Since October 8, 2004 I totally changed the way I felt about the Lord. I
wanted to be saved.
