What? A paycheck that nobody wants? Perhaps you think I’m crazy to say that there is a paycheck that nobody wants. Everybody comes to work on the day they receive their paycheck, right? And if somebody doesn’t want their paycheck, I’m sure there would be plenty of people who would take it, right?

BUT- I’m talking about a different kind of paycheck. Just like we receive a paycheck for the work that we do, the Bible says that one day, we will receive a paycheck for the sins we have done. This is the paycheck that nobody wants. Romans 6:23 “The wages of sin is death.” The Bible talks about two kinds of death. The first death is when our body dies. Some people think we will be reincarnated, but the Bible says that all those who stand before God with their sin will be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity. This is second death.
